Memorial and Celebration of Life

The harp’s gentle and resonant tone creates a calming and reflective atmosphere, which is ideal for moments of remembrance. 

Please specify any religious affiliation to determine the appropriate type of music at the service. Musical genres often played are classical music, hymns, and selective popular songs.

Services offered:

Viewing:

Music is provided during the viewing of the deceased. This can be anywhere between one-two hours.

​

Memorial service:

15-minutes of music is performed prior to the memorial service as guests enter, any music during the service, and postlude, lasting about an hour and half to two-hours. Music during the services are interludes, songs to dedicate to the deceased, background music for video presentation, and flower presentation. 

​

Burial: 

Music is performed before/during/after the burial service. Musical interlude is offered during guests' arrival, any silent moments, dove release, flower giving, and as guests leave the site. Most of burial sites have no shading. Please provide a tent or an umbrella for shading as the instrument is very sensitive to the direct sun. Due to the outdoor setting and only a lever harp may be suitable for a burial service.

Reception:

Harp performance is available for a memorial reception. Generally families choose to have favorites songs of the deceased, and/or happy, uplifting songs to be performed.
