I'm Tomoko, harpist in Orange County, California.

Tomoko Sato brings the harp to life with a voice both elegant and profound. Across Southern California, she shares her crafts through chamber ensembles, solo stages, and recordings—offering a sound that resonates long after the final note.

A founding member of Harpsody Duo and Harptet, Tomoko has shared stages from the Segerstrom Center for the Arts and the American Harp Society Institute to the Nixon Library and the Philharmonic Society of Orange County. Her artistry has been featured in films, recordings, and in the pages of The American Harp Society Journal and edible: Orange County, earning her multiple honors—including the Best Business of Irvine award in the Musicians category.

Equally devoted to nurturing the next generation, Tomoko teaches students ages five to seventy, guiding each with passion. She serves as harp coach at Woodbridge High School, is on faculty at Concordia University’s Summer Music Camp, and holds an active role with the Orange County Chapter of the American Harp Society.

Tomoko is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Southern California.
